    Kidney disease: It is more common than you think

    Kidney disease has become highly prevalent in these days. You must have heard about the common terms such as chronic kidney disease, renal failure, and dialysis around you. Aren’t you familiar with these terms? A huge number of people are suffering from these diseases and some are at higher risk of developing these diseases. Do you know, there are a lot of reasons behind the kidney diseases? Some of the reasons are explainable whereas some of the reasons are completely unexplainable. But the point is, you must know that what exactly the kidney disease is and how to cure this disease? 

    Kidney plays a vital role in the human body. It helps in maintaining the balance between the acid and base; it also helps in the interaction of the blood plasma. The basic unit of the kidney is nephron and it carries out all the above-mentioned functions. Due to known and unknown reasons, the kidney starts functioning improperly. When the kidneys are unable to perform the best functioning then the diseases result in. 

    Sometimes, kidney diseases are the outcome of existing diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. It can also occur as a result of prolonged urinary tract infection. Sometimes, problems like heart attack are also responsible for it. Simply, it is all about the lifestyle you carry on and how it affects your system. 

    Symptoms of kidney diseases: 

    (In acute case) 

    • Chest pain 
    • Fatigue 
    • Hypertension 
    • Back pain 
    • Diarrhoea 

    Swelling of ankles and feet

    (In initial stage) 

    • Muscle cramps 
    • Alteration in urination 
    • Vomiting 
    • Nausea 
    • Loss of appetite

    Though, there are a lot of treatment options given by modern medicine but these options do not work for some people. Let us know about the options which work for all.
