Why Tailored Food Intolerance Solutions Make More Sense Than Generic Advice

The generic approach to food intolerances goes something like this. Avoid gluten. Avoid dairy. Try low FODMAP for three months. See if anything improves. It helps some people, does nothing for others, and often leaves you more confused than when you started.

The reason generic approaches fail so often is that food intolerances are individual. What triggers inflammation in one person might be completely fine for another. Tailored food intolerance solutions from ImuPro start from that reality.

    Your Immune System Is Unique

Two people can eat an identical diet and have completely different IgG antibody responses to the foods in it. One person’s immune system might be highly reactive to eggs but completely fine with wheat. Another person is the opposite. A third person reacts strongly to a specific spice they use every day and has no reaction to either eggs or wheat.

There is no universal list of foods to avoid for IgG food intolerances. The only way to know which foods are driving your symptoms is to measure your individual immune response.

    What Individual Testing Looks Like

ImuPro’s Complete 270 test measures your IgG antibody levels against 270 individual foods and additives. The result is a personal immune response profile, categorised as not elevated, elevated, or highly elevated for every tested food.

This isn’t a general sensitivity score or a category-level result like “dairy: avoid.” It’s specific. You might react to cow’s milk and mozzarella but not to parmesan or sheep’s milk. You might react to wheat but be completely fine with oats, spelt, or buckwheat. Testing 270 individual foods rather than food categories is what makes this tailored rather than generic.

The Post-Test Support Is Part of the Solution

Test results without guidance are only half useful. ImuPro’s Complete and Vegetarian tests come with personalised nutritional guidelines built around your specific results, not a standard elimination protocol applied to everyone.

The three-phase process, elimination, provocation, and stabilisation, is structured to work with your individual results. During provocation, you reintroduce elevated foods one at a time to confirm which are actual triggers. This step is important because not every elevated food will cause symptoms in every person, and permanent unnecessary elimination makes your diet harder without benefit.

The recipe booklet included with the Complete and Vegetarian tests is tailored to your non-reactive foods. Practical, usable, specific to you.

    Histamine Adds Another Layer

Some people have symptoms driven not by IgG reactions but by histamine intolerance. The Histamine Intolerance test measures DAO enzyme activity, the enzyme responsible for breaking down histamine from food.

Low DAO combined with a high-histamine diet produces symptoms very similar to IgG food sensitivities. Testing both on the same blood sample through the ImuPro Bundle gives the most complete picture of what’s driving chronic symptoms.

    The Testing Options

Four IgG testing options across different food panels. Screen+ for 44 foods. Basic 90 for 90 foods. Complete 270 for the most comprehensive coverage available. Vegetarian 221 for those who don’t eat meat or fish.

Each delivers individual results rather than generic category guidance.

    No Referral, Nationwide Access
