    Bird Dog

    This move makes your core stronger and your back more stable. Start on your knees and hands, with your knees hip-width apart and your hands right under your shoulders. Keep your back flat and your core tight as you straighten one arm and the other leg. Hold for a few seconds, then switch places and do it again.

    Stay at a healthy weight

    Your back and the rest of your body feel pressure when you carry extra weight. For every pound you lose, your spine will be under less stress. Talk to your doctor about making a safe and healthy plan to lose weight if you are overweight or fat.

    To take care of your back health and keep your spine strong and flexible for years to come, make these changes to the way you live. Do not forget that having a good back is important for living a busy and satisfying life.
